Glass Painting Workshop
Glass paint was specially created for making a painting on glass. Glass painting is an art form derived from the golden age of stained-glass painting. For stained-glass artworks, pieces of glass were put together to reflect and represent a classic design.
Glass painting workshop for foundation students was done at LISAA School of Design. The workshop aims to teach students to identify different materials and how to create works of art using simple materials. We used glass panels and acrylic colors, and we used simple designs that are easy to implement, inspired by the deconstruction method. And the students in the form of groups (consisting of 4:5 students) implemented the painting together. In the medieval period, glass painted high windows and doors were commonly seen in churches and old castles or buildings.
